Prague, 12th February –The newest edition of what was the biggest Olympia Amateur event of last year is officially confirmed to return to Prague during the first October 2015 weekend again to the city’s famous Tipsport Arena. This grand IFBB-sanctioned festival of amateur bodybuilding and fitness will take place jointly with Europe’s biggest pro show EVLS Prague Pro in the capital city of Czech republic and will welcome contestants from all corners of Europe to compete in five major categories with five pro cards to be awarded to all overall champions.
“The best European athletes in the categories of men´s bodybuilding and physique, and women´s bodyfitness, fitness and bikini will perform in a challenging competitive environment, with plenty of action and passion for sport,” announced the IFBB President, Dr. Rafael Santonja. All height and weight divisions for mentioned categories will be presented during March.
“The IFBB, together with Robin Chang, is very pleased sharing partnership with EVLS Prague Pro, in this 2nd edition of the Olympia Amateur Europe, and both encourage all the national federations, athletes and delegates from Europe to participate in this amazing event. The event will take place at the pick of the always busy autumn IFBB Program, as one of the most attractive events where all European athletes will have a great opportunity to perform in a magnificent venue, supported by the always efficient and experienced Sport
Holding Prague team,” Dr. Santonja added. “This is a dream come true for every promoter, competitor, fan and even multiple partners to be given an opportunity to promote and organize such as sporting feast. We worked very hard to make this happen and thanks to the tremendous support of the IFBB and AMI, the Olympia license holder, we are now able to make
this announcement,” event’s promoter and Sport Holding Prague’s CEO, Robert Speychal, commented. The IFBB Olympia Amateur Bikini was part of first two editions of EVLS Prague Pro back in 2012 and 2013, whereas the last year´s Olympia Amateur Europe already hosted competition in five main categories including 13 different classes in total. All five overall winners gained a pro card.
