Six weeks ago, Francine Sablan was just another NPC Figure competitor, hoping to one day step on a professional stage. On Saturday night she did that and more, winning the Tournament of Champions in her pro debut against an extremely competitive lineup.
Sablan, who won her pro card by winning the Overall at the NPC USAs in July, beat out one qualified competitor in Teresa Anthony and several decorated veterans – and another rookie on the rise – looking for Olympia qualifications.

Fellow rookie Mallory Haldeman, who placed second at the Tampa Pro in her IFBB debut, placed second again and earned another four points in the Olympia Qualification Series Standings. She ends the qualifying season with eight points, assuring her of a spot in the Olympia. Anthony placed third while Allison Frahn and Larissa Reis rounded out the top five.
Frahn (10 points) finishes the qualifying as the points leader while Reis earned one point to move into a tie for second with Haldeman.
